Straightforward, flat-fee uncontested divorce document preparation—without the cost or complexity of full-service litigation.

These packages are a good fit if you and your spouse are separating on reasonable terms and thinking:

“We’re in agreement. I don’t want to pay thousands of dollars in legal fees—can’t I just handle this myself?”

Many online “how to file for divorce” guides focus on the forms — but they often don’t explain the legal reasoning behind the forms.

In Manitoba, the paperwork has to be completed in a very specific way. Small errors, missing information, or inconsistent terms can delay your divorce — or create problems later.

That’s where having a lawyer prepare the documents can make a real difference.

I draft the required documents and guide you through the court process, while you stay in control of the overall file.

Important: I assist with uncontested divorces only. If your matter involves active conflict, urgent court deadlines, safety concerns, or complex financial issues, you may need full-service representation.

Simple Divorce Package — $750.00
For uncontested divorces with:

  • No children; and

  • No property division issues.

Simple Divorce Package with Children - $1,000.00
For uncontested divorces where you:

All prices are plus applicable taxes.
These services are available for divorces filed in Manitoba only

What’s included

  • Review of your completed intake form and supporting information

  • Drafting of all required Manitoba court documents

  • Clear, step-by-step instructions for signing, serving, and filing

  • Email support for clarification about the documents I prepare;

What’s not included

  • Court filing fees

  • Witnessing or notarizing documents (available separately, if needed)

  • Serving the other party

  • Filing documents on your behalf

  • Communication with the other party, their lawyer, or the court

  • Negotiation or dispute resolution

  • In-person meetings (unless booked separately)

These services are intentionally limited to keep costs predictable and affordable.

How it works

  1. You complete a short intake form and provide the required information and documents

  2. I prepare the the full set of required Manitoba court forms and follow up if anything needs clarification.

  3. You receive the completed documents along with clear, step-by-step filing instructions

  4. You sign, serve, and file the documents following the instructions provided
